I've learned so much today about my little boy. All his weird characteristics and things he does. He's a Pixie-bob cat, a mixture of house cat and bobcat or bobcat mix. He continues to grow for four years (he's only 2) and right now he weighs 15 lbs and could get as big at 20 lbs and still be a healthy size. They bond with one person, or a family (he's bonded with me), and they like to swim and play in water. Will follow their 'person' all over just to be in the same room (this makes LOADS of sense). They are VERY affectionate, not really mean (this is iffy sometimes) and love strangers. They are doglike and will also play fetch lol. They are very intelligent as well.
This explains a lot, took me a while to finally research his breed, glad I did!
This cat loves to sit with me while I take a bath, once he hears the water running he comes right on in and takes his place. He will play with my feet in the water and when he was a kitten would come and sit on my chest IN the water. Such a dope.
He smothers me with his cuteness nightly. When I come home he jumps up and goes right to loving. If I am cleaning our small home on wheels, he is right there watching me. If we go outside he is near by and if he wanders off, he comes home when I call his name.
He LOVES strangers and is very social. He doesn't like other cats though, I've come to see, but he likes people and will love up on you and play.
He also, oddly, likes his vet lol. Loves the receptionists.
So, today was perfect to research my fur child and found out a lot about his roots. I can't wait to see how big he gets. He is already huge.
